People Foundations Intern (all genders)

<p style="min-height:1.5em">As People Foundations Intern at Lio, you will help build the team and people infrastructure behind one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI companies.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Backed by a16z and Y Combinator, we are building a category-defining product and an exceptional team to match. Working closely with the People &amp; Culture team and our hiring managers, you will identify and engage outstanding talent while helping establish the systems and processes that will support Lio as we scale.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This isn’t a role where you simply support existing people operations. You will help build them from the ground up.<br /></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">In this role, you will:</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Actively identify and approach exceptional candidates, building a strong pipeline of A-players who can shape Lio’s next stage of growth</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Take ownership of sourcing projects using LinkedIn Recruiter: from defining target profiles and building searches to crafting outreach that gets responses</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Conduct initial interviews, assess candidate motivation and fit, and create an outstanding first impression of Lio</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Help implement HiBob and build the foundation of a scalable, data-driven People Operations function</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design and improve people processes across recruiting, onboarding, employee data, and internal workflows</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Gain direct insight into people strategy and contribute ideas that help us attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, and automate repetitive People processes</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own projects end to end and see the direct impact of your work on our team and growth</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Your Profile</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You are a strong fit for this role if you:</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Are available for a minimum of four months, starting as soon as possible</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in business, psychology, human resources, technology, or a related discipline</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Have previous hands-on experience with active sourcing and know how to identify and engage strong candidates</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Feel confident using LinkedIn and ideally have experience with LinkedIn Recruiter</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bring a strong academic track record and/or have demonstrated exceptional ownership through student initiatives, entrepreneurial projects, or other extracurricular activities</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Have native-level proficiency in German and are fluent in English</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Are structured, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership without waiting for detailed instructions</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment with ambitious goals and changing priorities</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Have experience with HiBob or another HRIS <br /></p></li></ul><h2><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">At Lio, you won’t just support the People function, you’ll help lay its foundation.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You will play a direct role in building the team behind our growth while creating the systems and processes that shape how Lio operates.
