Principal (Venture Capital)

<ul> <li>YZR Capital is a leading HealthTech investment platform with rapid AuM growth, backed by top-tier LPs, investing from Seed to Series B</li> <li>Operating out of Munich, our portfolio spans Europe and the US, with investments across 10 countries</li> <li>The team is responsible for several lighthouse transactions in the sector, such as Biorce and Scan</li> </ul> <h2>Tasks</h2> <p>As a Principal, you will be working in an entrepreneurial setting, contributing across the entire investment lifecycle and playing a role in shaping the future of health tech in Europe. In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Drive the investment process end-to-end, from sourcing to evaluation, due diligence, deal execution, and closing</li> <li>Lead deals into the investment committee and build the conviction case behind them</li> <li>Take board observer or board seats, and act as the primary partner to portfolio companies</li> <li>Develop and pressure-test investment theses in our focus areas, and translate sector deep dives into actionable pipeline</li> <li>Strengthen YZR's platform through research, tooling, and internal initiatives, and help build our network of founders and co-investors</li> <li>Support the GPs on internal projects</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Strong entrepreneurial, analytical, and curious mindset</li> <li>5+ years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, strategy consulting, or investment banking</li> <li>Demonstrated deal experience: sourcing, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing</li> <li>Enthusiasm for new business models in the field of health tech</li> <li>High motivation, initiative, and a collaborative spirit, with strong communication skills</li> <li>English proficiency, good knowledge of German (B2+)</li> </ul> <p>Together with the YZR team, you will be able to push our vision of accelerating health tech disruption in Europe in a culture that rewards a hands-on approach, initiative, and independent thinking.</p> <p>We're looking forward to your application!</p> <p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
