Product Engineer

<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">A fast-moving, pre-seed healthtech startup building a modern preventive health platform is looking for a highly autonomous <strong>Product Engineer</strong> to join their small team in Berlin. The platform combines advanced biomarker diagnostics, clinician-reviewed health plans, AI-powered concierge experiences, and interactive customer dashboards into a single seamless product.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a <strong>founder-mode role</strong> — no PMs, no hand-offs, no tickets handed to you. You'll work directly with the founders, own features end-to-end, and ship real product from day one.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ship product end-to-end across the web app, backend, and third-party integrations (lab partners, supplement manufacturers)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build and iterate on customer-facing experiences: biomarker dashboards, personalised action plans, and subscription flows</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own and improve engineering infrastructure and AI development tooling as the product scales</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work directly with the founding team to translate product vision into working software — fast</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Up to 1 year of software development experience, with <strong>shipped, real-world software</strong> — startup, founder, or indie hacker contexts are a strong signal</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on experience with modern AI development workflows and tooling (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, evals, agentic pipelines)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience designing and implementing customer-facing dashboards and subscription flows for web applications</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building API integrations with external partners (e.g. lab or manufacturing providers)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Genuine full-stack capability: comfortable owning frontend, backend, and integrations without relying on specialists</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Professional working proficiency in English</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to operate autonomously in a high-trust, low-process environment</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency in <strong>TypeScript</strong> and <strong>Next.js</strong> (or equivalent); experience with <strong>React</strong>, <strong>PostgreSQL</strong>, <strong>Supabase</strong>, and <strong>Vercel</strong></p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Genuine interest in or background relating to preventive health, longevity, or biomarker science</p></li></ul><h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Salary:</strong> €36,000 – €48,000 per year</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Early-stage equity opportunity (details discussed during interview process)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Direct collaboration with founders and meaningful ownership over product direction</p></li></ul><h3>Location</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Berlin, Germany</strong> — on-site, five days per week.
