<p>You take end-to-end ownership of a dedicated product portfolio in the defense segment, from strategic positioning to market execution. At the interface of engineering, commercial strategy, and key account management, you ensure that products meet both technical requirements and business objectives. You translate innovation roadmaps into market-ready solutions and actively drive growth in powertrain and defense-related applications.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <ul> <li>Full lifecycle ownership of an assigned defense product portfolio</li> <li>Performance monitoring and initiation of targeted improvement measures across the product lifecycle</li> <li>Definition of product requirements and specifications based on customer input, R&#x26;D direction, and market intelligence</li> <li>Direct customer interface and systematic consolidation of market and customer insights</li> <li>Ownership of pricing decisions, profitability targets, cost control, and optimization initiatives</li> <li>Driving new product launches in close coordination with Project Management and Marketing functions</li> <li>Development of differentiated value propositions aligned to innovation roadmap and competitive dynamics</li> <li>Alignment of regional product strategies and portfolio coverage across key markets</li> <li>Cross-functional collaboration with R&#x26;D, Technical Sales, and senior stakeholders on product direction</li> <li>Active contribution to the development and continuous improvement of product configuration tools</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Engineering or a comparable technical discipline</li> <li>5+ years in a product management or engineering role, ideally within combustion engine or powertrain environments</li> <li>Solid understanding of powertrain systems and their application in industrial or defense contexts</li> <li>Hands-on experience with product lifecycle management processes</li> <li>Commercial acumen: pricing logic, margin management, profitability levers</li> <li>Proven ability to operate in matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders</li> <li>Exposure to defense or regulated industrial markets is an advantage</li> <li>Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g. MS Project or equivalent)</li> <li>Fluent German and English (C1); French at working level (B2) an asset</li> <li>Strong commercial mindset combined with structured, direct communication style</li> <li>Resilient, assertive personality, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and external partners</li> </ul> <p>At CONCAPE, we guide you through the entire hiring process, from first contact to contract signing directly with the client, <strong><em>including relocation support</em></strong> for non-residents.</p> <p>Find <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com/">Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
