Your Responsibilities <ul style="list-style-type:disc;margin-left:26px;"><li>Module responsibility and teaching of Gisma Bachelor and Master programmes as well as examination, assessments, and student supervision.</li><li>Active participation in programme development and quality assurance.</li><li>Conception, creation and adaptation of teaching and learning materials.</li><li>Initiate, expand and maintain cooperation with partners in industry and research.</li><li>Participation in accreditation procedures as needed.</li><li>Active participation in academic administration and committee work.</li><li>Further development of a personal research profile, publication of results, and other public dissemination activities.</li><li>Participation in student recruitment events.</li></ul> Your profile<ul style="list-style-type:disc;margin-left:26px;"><li>For an appointment you will need to fulfill all requirements according to Section 42 ff of the Brandenburg Higher Education Act (BbgHG). See the following link: <a href="https://bravors.brandenburg.de/gesetze/bbghg#41">§42 ff. BbgHG.</a></li></ul>Among others the requirements for professorship are: <ul style="list-style-type:disc;margin-left:62px;"><li>Completed university studies.</li><li>Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications.</li><li>Qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship, at least three years, two of them outside of a university after having obtained a master’s degree or equivalent.</li></ul><ul style="list-style-type:disc;margin-left:26px;"><li>You are experienced in teaching in university classrooms, with blended and online approaches. Your students confirm in their evaluations an excellent quality of teaching and pedagogical aptitude.</li><li>You have a high affinity for computer science topics.</li></ul>· You have strong expertise in core areas of cybersecurity, with specialized knowledge in at least one subfield such as network security, cryptography, threat analysis, or application security.· You demonstrate practical proficiency with modern programming languages, frameworks, and state-of-the-art tools and technologies commonly used in the industry, such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark, OWASP ZAP, or secure coding libraries.<ul style="list-style-type:disc;margin-left:26px;"><li>You are internationally experienced and fluent in English for teaching and research purposes.</li><li>You demonstrate significant publications.</li><li>You possess research experience, ideally including the acquisition of funding.</li><li>You will provide new innovative directions for research and teaching.</li><li>Ideally, you are experienced in curriculum development and accreditation processes.</li></ul> Why us?<ul style="list-style-type:disc;margin-left:26px;"><li>A full-time employment contract, including 18 weekly semester teaching hours.</li><li>A versatile, innovative and international work environment in cooperation with renowned partner universities and cooperation partners.</li><li>The opportunity for progression within a dynamic, entrepreneurial university environment.</li><li>Senior responsibilities and creative freedom.</li><li>The opportunity for personal and professional development.</li></ul> Interested?
