QA Lead (all genders)

<p style="min-height:1.5em">We're looking for a QA Lead to join Gimica, our in-house game studio focused on creating casual, timeless mobile experiences with lasting appeal.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">In this role, you'll own quality across our portfolio of ~70 live Unity mobile games. This is not a single-title QA role - our games each have their own release cycle while sharing SDKs, Firebase configuration, analytics, monetization, and backend services.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You'll define and scale our QA strategy, automation, and release processes to help a small team safely support a large portfolio. From driving test automation and release readiness to improving the shared systems that power every game, you'll play a key role in ensuring we deliver high-quality experiences to millions of players.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Define and own the QA strategy across ~70 live mobile games, balancing centralized standards with title-specific needs.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build scalable QA processes, automation, and release practices that improve quality without scaling headcount linearly.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own release readiness across the portfolio, including release gating, staged rollouts, post-launch monitoring, and Go/No-Go recommendations.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drive automated testing across Unity games and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines to improve release confidence.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Lead, mentor, and grow the QA team while collaborating closely with Game Engineering, Design, Producing, and external QA partners.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Champion quality across shared systems including SDK integrations, Firebase, analytics, monetization, and backend services.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Job Requirements</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">5+ years of experience in mobile game QA, including leading QA teams and driving QA strategy for live products.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proven experience building and scaling in-engine test automation for Unity mobile games (AltTester/AltUnity, Unity Test Framework, or similar), ideally packaged as a shared test harness or SDK that can be rolled out across many titles without per-game code changes.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on experience with device-level, cross-app UI automation (e.g. Appium with UIAutomator2/XCUITest) for end-to-end flows that span multiple apps, such as a game handing off to a companion app, store and permission dialogs, or deep links, including apps without source access.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong understanding of release management for live mobile games, including staged rollouts, release gating, rollback strategies, and post-launch monitoring.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with Firebase (Crashlytics, Remote Config, A/B Testing), analytics validation, and shared mobile SDKs.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable with Android &amp;
