We're looking for a dedicated QA Engineer to join our team!</p><p><br /></p><h3><strong>Your tasks</strong></h3><ul><li><p><strong>End-to-End Testing:</strong> Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications and native mobile apps (iOS &amp; Android)</p></li><li><p><strong>Test Automation:</strong> Create and optimize test automation scripts using Playwright (JS), maintain existing scripts and utilize AI tools to accelerate automation workflows</p></li><li><p><strong>Full-Spectrum Validation:</strong> Perform functional, smoke, sanity, integration, localization, and regression testing across complex features like user registration, ad posting flows, search/filtering logic and premium subscription models</p></li><li><p><strong>Shift-Left approach:</strong> Work closely with developers, product managers, designers and DevOps teams to identify issues early in the development lifecycle and ensure high-quality product delivery</p></li><li><p><strong>Defect Lifecycle Management:</strong> Investigate, document, and track bugs in Jira and Confluence, providing clear feedback to developers, coordinating bug fixes</p></li><li><p><strong>Environment Verification:</strong> Ensure platform quality across different environments prior to production launch and assist with release coordination</p></li><li><p><strong>Cross-Department Syncing:</strong> Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support teams during showcases and alignment meetings to safeguard release quality</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)</p></li><li><p>Ideally 2-5 years of relevant experience</p></li><li><p>Experience in software quality assurance and testing</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)</p></li><li><p>Experience with mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with creating and executing Playwright automation scripts using JavaScript (or similar)</p></li><li><p>Experience with version control systems using Git and GitHub workflows</p></li><li><p>Basic knowledge of SQL for performing direct database queries</p></li><li><p>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English</p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with API and performance testing</p></li><li><p>Exposure to AI-driven QA tools, test generation, or intelligent automation platforms</p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><h3><strong>What do we offer?</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Pleasant working atmosphere in top modern offices</p></li><li><p>Hybrid work model</p></li><li><p>Great team and fun at work</p></li><li><p>A powerful employer with a success story of 20 years</p></li><li><p>Further training and qualification opportunities</p></li><li><p>Health promotion, EGYM Wellpass, massages, retirement plan, lunch, MacBook Pro and many more</p></li></ul><p><br /></p><h3><strong>Ready to take your career to the next level?</strong></h3><p>If you are looking for a company that cultivates talent and provides you with the room to grow and unfold, then Yalwa is just for you!
