Regional Costing, Insights & Consulting Director EMEA (m/f/d)

Based in Munich, you will hold executive accountability for the EMEA client-project portfolio from acquisition through post-delivery, including quality, delivery predictability, capacity and P&amp;L. You will lead team leaders, customer program managers and cost engineers, advise senior clients and work closely with Sales and global functions to turn market needs into scalable, differentiated offerings.</p><p><strong>Your responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Set the direction for the EMEA Costing organization and lead, mentor and develop team leaders, customer program managers and cost engineers.</li><li>Define the regional capability strategy, building the leadership, technical and consulting skills required for current delivery and future growth.</li><li>Own EMEA workforce planning, capacity allocation and portfolio priorities, resolving trade-offs and protecting customer and business commitments.</li><li>Govern opportunity qualification across EMEA, ensuring executive sponsorship, disciplined risk assessment and profitable, executable commitments.</li><li>Partner with Sales to shape complex opportunities, develop priority accounts and expand consulting-led propositions and strategic projects.</li><li>Define and execute the EMEA consulting roadmap, create repeatable offerings and establish effective governance for solution shaping, staffing, delivery and knowledge reuse.</li><li>Own regional delivery excellence across scope, milestones, budget and quality, and personally lead critical project and client escalations.</li><li>Act as executive sponsor for complex consulting engagements and as a trusted advisor to senior clients on cost competitiveness, value engineering, benchmarking, sourcing and product optimization.</li><li>Own the EMEA Costing P&amp;L, resource forecasts, providing global leadership with transparent risks and corrective actions.</li><li>Bring client and market feedback into global methodology, product and innovation development and share successful regional practices across the organization.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Your profile</strong></p><ul><li>A degree in engineering or a comparable technical discipline.</li><li>At least 10 years of progressive experience in an automotive, cost-engineering, engineering-services or consulting environment. </li><li>At least five years of successful leadership of a regional or multi-country function, including portfolio, P&amp;L and executive client accountability and leadership of 10 or more people.</li><li>A strong record of sponsoring and governing complex projects from solution shaping through delivery, including quality oversight, risk recovery and senior stakeholder management.</li><li>Executive presence and credibility to advise and challenge senior clients, chair steering committees and navigate difficult commercial and delivery decisions.</li><li>Broad understanding of automotive technologies and strong interest across powertrain, electronics, exterior, battery and interior domains.</li><li>Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, familiarity with project management tools &amp; AI usage</li><li>Professional proficiency in English.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>50 EUR monthly Wellpass subsidy to support your health and wellbeing</li><li>Subsidized meals in the canteen</li><li>One paid day per year for volunteering in social or environmental projects</li><li>December 24th and 31st off – so you can fully enjoy the holiday season</li><li>Sabbatical options to take extended time off when you need it</li><li>Flexible working hours with fair overtime compensation and time off in lieu</li><li>Possibility to work from abroad for a limited number of days per year</li><li>An international working environment with diverse projects and a strong team spirit</li><li>Regular team events such as B2Run, Oktoberfest, Christmas parties and many more</li><li>Free fruit, coffee, tea, water and snacks in the office</li><li>Modern office at Laim station with good public transport access and parking spaces</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Interested?
