<p style="min-height:1.5em">As part of our Sales Talent Pool, you'll be first in line for a range of roles across our sales team. We're always on the lookout for great salespeople, so rather than post one role at a time and hope the right person spots it, we're building a community of people we want to talk to first. Register your interest and we'll come to you as soon as the right opportunity opens up.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">The roles we're building this pool for:</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Sales Associate</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Commercial Specialist</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Cross Sales Specialist</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">-Business Development Representatives</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Forget long lists, here's what you'll actually spend your time on:</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Building relationships with prospective and existing customers, understanding what they need and matching them to the right Checkatrade product or service</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Owning your own pipeline from first conversation through to close, keeping momentum without letting anything slip through the cracks</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Hitting (and beating) targets through a mix of outbound calling, negotiation and relationship-building</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Spotting genuine opportunities to cross-sell and upsell, because it helps the customer, not just the numbers</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Sharing what's working with the wider sales team, and picking up tips from everyone else doing the same</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Keeping your CRM up to date so the team always has an accurate view of where deals stand</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">It's not about ticking every box. It's about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You'll do well here if you bring:</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Experience in a sales, telesales or account management role (or bags of eagerness if you're just starting out)</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- A track record of hitting targets, or the drive and resilience to build one</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Confident, clear communication — you build rapport fast and hold your own on the phone</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">- Comfortable juggling a busy pipeline and keeping a CRM up to date</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We believe great work deserves great rewards.
