GT’s mission is to connect the world’s best talent with product careers offered by high-growth companies in the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands.</p><p>Our clients operate in industries like <strong>healthcare, life sciences, fintech, retail, e-commerce, finance and many more</strong>, giving our team exposure to real-world, high-impact projects.</p><p></p><h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Scrum Master</strong> to join a UK-based client in the healthcare and pharmacy domain, supporting Data Science &amp; Analytics delivery squads.</p><p>This is a <strong>6-month contract with potential extension.</strong></p><p>You will operate in an enterprise Agile environment focused on delivery predictability, transparency, and continuous improvement, working closely with UK stakeholders and distributed teams.</p><p>You will collaborate with:</p><ul><li><p>Product Owners</p></li><li><p>Delivery Managers</p></li><li><p>Engineering Leads</p></li><li><p>Business Analysts</p></li><li><p>Test Leads</p></li><li><p>Distributed delivery teams</p></li></ul><p>This is a hands-on Scrum Master role requiring independence, strong facilitation skills, and a practical approach to improving team ownership and delivery outcomes.</p><p></p><h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews / demos, and retrospectives.</p></li><li><p>Maintain clear sprint boards, dashboards, RAID logs, dependency tracking, and delivery status reporting in Jira and DevOps / Azure DevOps.</p></li><li><p>Coach teams on Agile behaviours, including sprint goals, estimation, story clarity, acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Engineering Leads, Business Analysts, Test Leads, and stakeholders to keep work prioritised and ready for delivery.</p></li><li><p>Track blockers, risks, dependencies, and key decisions, ensuring they are escalated through the right delivery forums and resolved in a timely manner.</p></li><li><p>Support PI / release planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART alignment, and continuous improvement across distributed teams where required.</p></li><li><p>Improve story quality, estimation discipline, backlog hygiene, sprint predictability, and follow-through from retrospectives.</p></li><li><p>Ensure delivery reporting is clear, evidence-based, and reliable.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><strong>Essential knowledge, skills &amp; experience</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Strong Scrum Master experience in technology delivery environments</p></li><li><p>5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role, ideally within large-scale or enterprise environments</p></li><li><p>Hands-on Jira experience, including sprint boards, dashboards, work item tracking, and sprint reporting</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with DevOps / Azure DevOps</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery</p></li><li><p>Experience improving backlog hygiene, story readiness, acceptance criteria, and sprint discipline</p></li><li><p>Ability to provide clear, evidence-based status reporting</p></li><li><p>Strong stakeholder management skills</p></li><li><p>Experience working with distributed teams, including onshore / offshore delivery models</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working with UK stakeholders and overlapping with UK working hours</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><strong>Nice-to-have</strong></h2><ul><li><p>SAFe experience</p></li><li><p>PI planning experience</p></li><li><p>Scrum of Scrums or ART alignment experience</p></li><li><p>Mural experience</p></li><li><p>Retail, digital, data platform, cloud, data, or AI delivery exposure</p></li><li><p>PSM, CSM, or SAFe certification</p></li><li><p>Experience working in governance-heavy enterprise delivery environments</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><strong>Interview Steps</strong></h2><ol><li><p>GT interview with Recruiter.</p></li><li><p>Technical interview.</p></li><li><p>Final interview.</p></li><li><p>Offer.</p></li><li><p>Security check.</p></li></ol>
