For a career that doesn’t stand still, where you can put your ideas in the driving seat and change the way the world moves, join our international community.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Why this role is unique&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Own the &lt;strong&gt;General Ledger&lt;/strong&gt; for multiple German legal entities.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with &lt;strong&gt;IFRS&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;strong&gt;HGB&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Contribute to finance transformation and continuous process improvements.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Work closely with international finance teams across the AutoScout24 Group.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What you&#39;ll do&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Maintain the &lt;strong&gt;General Ledger&lt;/strong&gt; for German legal entities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in line with Group accounting policies, IFRS, HGB and local statutory requirements.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, annual audits and other local reporting requirements.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure reconciling items are investigated and resolved.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Assist with monthly &lt;strong&gt;VAT&lt;/strong&gt; returns and related tax compliance activities.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Support the global intercompany reconciliation process and collaborate with finance teams across the Group.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Contribute to system improvements and finance projects that enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What you&#39;ll bring&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Professional accounting qualification or active studies towards ACCA, ACA, CPA, Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachwirt or an equivalent qualification.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Solid knowledge of &lt;strong&gt;IFRS&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;strong&gt;HGB&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience in &lt;strong&gt;General Ledger Accounting&lt;/strong&gt; or Legal Entity Accounting within a medium to large international organisation.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience with ERP systems; Workday Financials is a plus.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Fluent German and English.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;A culture of growth&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;With over 50 nationalities represented, we’re proud to welcome people of all backgrounds to our growing community, and we’re always finding new ways to help people feel welcomed and included.
