As such, the field engineer provides the first line of technical support, analysis, and integration in the development of next-generation semi-autonomous driving systems.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div><br><strong>What will you do?</strong><br> <li>The field engineer will work alongside the development teams of a leading international automotive company.</li> <li>The field engineer will Be the liaison between Mobileye and the customer and hold a key role in Mobileye's development projects providing the customer with direct technical support.</li> <li>As such, the field engineer will have an influence on the design and application of advanced vision based semi-autonomous driving systems, eventually installed in millions of cars worldwide</li> <br><strong>What will your job look like?</strong><br> <li>Ability to understand operate and debug the entire Mobileye system and solve the customer problems.</li> <li>Installing various Mobileye evaluation systems on prototype vehicles: mechanical assembly, electrical connections, network configuration, operating systems, version deployments etc.</li> <li>Debugging multidisciplinary system failures.</li> <li>Performing and supervising test drives on an open road and test tracks</li> <li>The position includes office work, support at vehicle production lines and integration facilities.</li> <li>Tasks also include long test drives and travel to additional local cities and abroad projects from time to time.</li> <li>Close collaboration with the AV development, validation, and algorithm teams</li> <li>Testing and validating end-to-end AV functionality and provide expert reports.</li> <li>Representing the company in customer demonstrations</li> <div>&nbsp;</div><br><strong>All you need is</strong><br> <li><a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="http://B.Sc" class="postings-link">B.Sc</a>. in Electrical engineering /exact science or similar field</li> <li>Valid driving license and Advanced driving courses (for test vehicles)</li> <li>Linux experience</li> <li>2+ years of experience in customer facing roles (support / field engineer or similar)</li> <li>Various "Hands On" experience with installation (e.g. assembling, wiring, soldering)</li> <li>Experience with configuring/troubleshooting computers, Operating-Systems, protocol-based devices.</li> <li>Testing tools Experience: OBD2, Multi-meter (Fluke), Scope, Battery Analyzer, Sniffers etc.</li> <li>Excellent hardware and software systems understanding &amp; problem-solving.</li> <li>Willingness to work in a dynamic environment.</li> <li>Independent, self-disciplined, and self-contained</li> <li>Highly motivated and self-management skills</li> <li>Great interpersonal skills, customer facing.</li> <li>Fluent German and English skills both verbal and writing</li> <li>Abroad travels to support remote projects (3-4 times per year)</li> <div>Mobileye changes the way we drive, from preventing accidents to semi and fully autonomous vehicles.
