Senior Backend Engineer (f/x/m) Storefront in Tech & Data Team

As new challenges and opportunities arise on a daily basis, we are searching for new, energetic individuals to join our Storefront team responsible for supporting our customers by focusing on user engagement and conversion.</p><p>Primary responsibilities involve developing and maintaining customer-facing features and components across Content Management, Advertising and Customer Relations. Additionally, promotional product pages, marketing features and SEO initiatives will fall under the ownership of our team.</p><p>To expand our team, we are seeking another Senior Backend Engineer (f/x/m) proficient in PHP and Backend technologies.</p><p>We work remote, distributed, together: Whether fully remote within Germany or on-site in our offices in Berlin &amp; Erlangen - always as a team, always customer-oriented and data-driven.</p><p>You can find our techstack here: Insights.</p><p style=";"></p><br /><br /><h3>Here’s what you’ll be doing</h3><ul><li><p>We are constantly working on improving our customers’ satisfaction through landing pages, specialized tools for accessing our assortment, helpful content and guides, as well as easily reachable contact points to our customer service.</p></li><li><p>You’ll drive pivotal projects from development to production launch, including landing pages enhancements and expansion of marketing campaign features.</p></li><li><p>Implementation and maintenance of new and existing Product features.</p></li><li><p>We conduct thorough automated unit and integration tests to maintain high-quality standards, extended with manual testing as well. Quality assurance is a top priority for us.</p></li><li><p>You’ll help propel the team forward, leading technical solution planning and ensuring project goals are met within expected timelines</p></li><li><p>You’ll engage and collaborate with stakeholders and other engineering teams on business-critical projects and features</p><p style=";"></p></li></ul><h3>What you should bring to the table</h3><ul><li><p>At least 5 years of current work experience as a Backend Engineer working with PHP</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in OOP concepts, common design patterns, and complex database structures</p></li><li><p>Fluency in testing frameworks such as PHPUnit</p></li><li><p>Experience with common PHP frameworks such as Symfony is advantageous</p></li><li><p>Experience in managing code and dependencies with Git &amp; composer</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with React is a plus, but not required</p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><h3>Our tech stack</h3><ul><li><p>Shop-Backend: We are on PHP 8.4.
