<p class="Paragraph SCXW29980242 BCX8"><strong>Grade: Managing Consultant</strong>&nbsp;</p><p class="Paragraph SCXW29980242 BCX8"><strong>Location: London&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;(Hybrid)</p><p class="Paragraph SCXW29980242 BCX8"><strong>Contract Type: Permanent/Fixed Term Contract</strong></p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p>Delta Capita is seeking an experienced <strong>Senior Business Data Consultant</strong> to support our client’s large-scale reference data and data quality programme within a leading investment banking environment.</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p class="MsoNormal">This position will involve working closely with a Programme Manager to analyse and document client data quality issues across multiple asset classes within a front office/investment banking environment. The role is heavily focused on data investigation, root cause analysis, and supporting the definition of remediation strategies.</p> <br> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="color:#121317">Key responsibilities include:</span></strong></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Systematically documenting and analysing client reference data quality issues</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Mapping data flows, sources, and ownership across asset classes (credit, rates, FX, etc.)</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Performing root cause analysis (technology, process, governance, ownership gaps)</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Maintaining structured data issue logs with impact assessments and recommendations</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Supporting the development of remediation roadmaps and prioritisation frameworks</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to validate findings</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Contributing to data readiness initiatives (including AI-related use cases)</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Producing clear documentation (issue logs, data dictionaries, process flows, reports)</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal" style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="color:#121317">Ideal profile:</span></strong></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Extensive experience in data or business analysis within investment banking / capital markets</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Strong understanding of client reference data and data lifecycle</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Experience working across multiple FIC asset classes</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Strong data literacy (SQL, data structures, data modelling concepts)</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Proven ability to analyse complex data issues end-to-end</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Experience with data governance, data quality frameworks, or MDM is beneficial</span></p></li></ul><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p><strong><span style="color:#242424">How We Work:</span></strong></p><p><span style="color:#242424">Delta Capita is an equal opportunity employer.
