Senior Category Manager Indirect Procurement CapEx (All genders)

&lt;h2&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The role&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;p&gt;We need a hands-on CapEx procurement expert, not a generalist. You&#39;ll lead strategic sourcing for capital investments across HelloFresh&#39;s European production sites: machinery, automated lines, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and facility build-outs. You&#39;ll be embedded with Engineering and Operations from spec to handover, owning multi-million euro decisions. This role reports to the Director Indirect Procurement.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;We are looking for an ambitious, confident, entrepreneurial, and high-spirited Procurement professional with a strength for data processing, optimisation &amp;amp; reporting, ability to navigate ambiguity, attention to detail and great stakeholder management ability.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h2&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What you’ll do&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Own end-to-end CapEx sourcing: supplier market mapping, RFx execution, negotiation, and contract award for high-value capital projects&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Develop a multi-year CapEx category strategy covering production machinery, conveyors &amp;amp; MHE, cold storage, and building fit-outs&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Lead Total Cost of Ownership modelling and investment scenario analysis with Engineering and Finance&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Drive Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) to influence specs and design-to-cost outcomes before projects are locked&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Build and manage the supplier portfolio across Hello Fresh’s markets: qualification, performance tracking, and continuous improvement&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Partner with Project Management and Site Operations from inception through commissioning — not just at the buying stage&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Monitor equipment markets, supplier landscape, and technology trends relevant to food production and logistics&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Support broader Procurement Ops team, if necessary, in MRO, Facilities Management, Utilities, etc. projects.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;h2&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What you’ll bring&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;6+ years in procurement, with at least 3–4 years of dedicated CapEx category ownership&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Proven track record sourcing capital equipment: production machinery, automated systems, conveyors/MHE, or equivalent industrial CapEx&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Engineering degree or equivalent technical background strongly preferred: you need to speak your stakeholders&#39; language&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience managing large-scale sourcing across multiple European markets&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Fluent in English; German and/or French is a meaningful advantage&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Strong TCO and financial modelling skills; able to build business cases alongside Engineering and Finance&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Able travel to production sites across Europe if necessary.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;h2&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What we offer&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;p&gt;Elevate your lifestyle!
