We are a compact, high-performance team, valuing culture and stability over the unsustainable 'venture-backed burnout' mindset.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a commercially sharp, attention to detail Senior Ecommerce Growth Strategist to own and execute performance marketing strategies across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads. This is a detail-oriented role; you will be digging into hard data, finding root causes (assisted by Claude AI), and directly impacting our clients' bottom lines.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Data-Driven Strategy:</strong> Analyse complex data sets to identify growth bottlenecks and commercial opportunities for 7 and 8-figure ecommerce stores.</li> <li><strong>Campaign Architecture:</strong> Build, optimise, and scale high-performing campaigns across Paid Search &#x26; Paid Social.</li> <li><strong>Commercial Leadership:</strong> Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, communicating performance data clearly and translating technical metrics into business ROI.</li> <li><strong>Managed Channels:</strong> Google Ads (80%), Microsoft Ads (10%), Meta Ads (10%)</li> <li><strong>Client Load:</strong> You won't be flying solo. You'll be the lead and main point of contact for around <strong>5 of our PPC accounts</strong>, working alongside our CTO, a Google Ads Premier Partner with 22+ years in UK ecommerce, who manages the other half of the book. A direct line to one of Scotland's most experienced ecommerce operators, and the room to grow into leading the wider PPC function as we scale.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Martech Stack</strong></p> <p>You will regularly work with (hands-on) and master:</p> <ul> <li>Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax &#x26; Demand Gen)</li> <li>Microsoft Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax)</li> <li>Meta Ads (Prospecting &#x26; Retargeting)</li> <li>Advanced Google Analytics (GA4)</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <p><strong>The Essentials (About You)</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum 4+ years of commercial ecommerce performance marketing experience. Due to the high stakes of managing budgets for 7 and 8-figure turnover clients and acting as a lead boardroom consultant, this level of extensive, multi-year, hands-on experience is an absolute business requirement.</li> <li><strong>Education:</strong> Degree level or equivalent business experience.</li> <li><strong>Certification:</strong> Google Ads Certifications are mandatory (live or lapsed are both acceptable).</li> <li><strong>Numerically Strong:</strong> You have a strong commercial acumen and high attention to detail.
