Our platform is built around a modern heterogeneous multi-core Arm SoC with separate application and real-time processing domains. You will build the embedded Linux platform on the application cores and deliver the onboard capabilities that our autonomy depends on — GNC, vision pipeline, telemetry, payload integration — working hand in hand with several in-house hardware and software teams.</span></p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><h3>Your Roadmap to Make an Impact</h3><ul><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Own the embedded Linux platform on the application cores of our next-generation mission computer: Yocto-based BSP, kernel configuration, device trees, board-specific drivers.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Build the onboard capability set: camera and video pipeline, hardware-accelerated vision building blocks, telemetry, and clean integration interfaces for GNC and mission payloads.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Implement the Linux side of the inter-processor communication with the real-time domain, including health monitoring, time synchronization and watchdog strategies.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Make the platform fleet-ready: secure boot chain, signed image updates, system hardening, fast and deterministic boot.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Set up CI with automated on-target testing and hardware-in-the-loop rigs; support integration and flight-test campaigns.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Work closely with SoC vendor BSPs and our in-house hardware team during board bring-up and debugging.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Mentor engineers across the team on Linux platform topics and establish maintainable platform practices. </span></p></li></ul> <br> <ul><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or a comparable qualification.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">5+ years of professional embedded Linux experience: Yocto or Buildroot, kernel and device-tree work, driver development and debugging on Arm SoCs.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Strong C/C++ skills; Python for tooling and test automation.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Hands-on experience with heterogeneous multi-core SoCs and enough RTOS understanding to design clean contracts with a real-time domain.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#121317">Practical experience with camera/video pipelines (e.g. V4L2, GStreamer);
