Senior Full Stack Engineer

<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">We are a bootstrapped AI platform and product studio based in Munich, Germany, serving a fast-growing base of SME customers. Our platform enables teams to connect data sources, build custom AI workflows, and deploy tailored AI assistants — without needing to be technical experts. We're now looking for a <strong>Senior Full Stack Engineer</strong> to help us scale our platform from its current user base toward 1 million users.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You'll join a small, product-focused engineering team and take real ownership of complex architectural challenges — from multi-terabyte data synchronization to secure sandbox infrastructure and high-volume LLM processing pipelines.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own the most complex architectural problems across the platform, including multi-terabyte data synchronization and secure sandbox infrastructure.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Architect, build, and ship high-quality full-stack features using <strong>React</strong> and <strong>TypeScript</strong>, with a focus on long-term scalability and UX.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design and implement systems to synchronize and index terabytes of client data while enforcing fine-grained permissions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build infrastructure to process millions of LLM calls per month with high reliability and security.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Implement scalable, secure code sandbox solutions capable of spawning thousands of sandboxes per day.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Create base infrastructure and tooling for fast custom integrations, enabling new systems to be connected within hours.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate on technical roadmaps and align on architectural decisions with the broader engineering team.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes to keep the platform stable.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar through constructive, thorough code reviews.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Continuously improve development processes, code quality standards, and overall team performance.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Must-haves:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">7+ years of professional software engineering experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong hands-on experience with <strong>React</strong>, <strong>TypeScript</strong>, and <strong>PostgreSQL</strong> (including relational data modeling and query performance optimization).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with <strong>tRPC</strong> or an equivalent type-safe API communication framework.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proven experience designing and implementing <strong>secure, multi-tenant sandbox environments</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building systems to process <strong>millions of LLM/API calls per month</strong> with high reliability and security.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with the broader stack: <strong>Docker</strong>, <strong>Kubernetes</strong>, and modern CI/CD tooling.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Willingness to work on-site in <strong>Munich, Germany</strong> (hybrid arrangement).</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice-to-haves:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience scaling complex software architectures for high-growth B2B products.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A strong product ownership mindset with genuine attention to end-user experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A passion for mentoring engineers and shaping engineering standards and processes.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfort with fast-paced, high-growth environments and rapid context switching.</p></li></ul><h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Salary:</strong> €70,000 – €90,000 per year, depending on experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work on a product with real user impact in the growing AI/SME space.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Small, collaborative team with significant scope for architectural influence.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hybrid work arrangement based in Munich.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Please note:</strong> Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
