Senior Full-Stack Engineer

<p style=";"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p style=";">We are looking for a Russian-speaking senior, well-rounded Full-Stack Engineer who is equally comfortable building polished React/TypeScript interfaces and substantial backend systems with Node.js/TypeScript. This is a long-term opportunity to join an established engineering environment and take meaningful ownership of production systems, architecture decisions, and technical outcomes. The role is fully remote, working EST hours. Fintech experience is preferred.</p><p style=";;"></p><p style=";"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Design, build, and maintain production-grade React and TypeScript applications, delivering scalable and reliable user-facing functionality.</p></li><li><p>Develop and own substantial Node.js/TypeScript backend services and APIs, contributing to architecture and technical design decisions.</p></li><li><p>Build, deploy, and operate applications within AWS, ensuring reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.</p></li><li><p>Design and work with PostgreSQL databases, including schemas, queries, migrations, data modeling, and performance optimization.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with engineering leadership and other team members on architecture, implementation, code quality, and production outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot production issues, improve existing systems, and contribute to engineering standards and long-term technical decisions.</p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><br /><br /><p style=";;"></p><ul><li><p>7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong track record of owning and delivering production systems and a stable employment history.</p></li><li><p>Strong, recent, hands-on React + TypeScript experience building production frontend applications.</p></li><li><p>Significant, recent Node.js + TypeScript backend experience, including ownership of production APIs or services; candidates who are primarily frontend engineers with only occasional Node.js exposure will not be considered.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on production experience with AWS and PostgreSQL; experience with AWS Fargate/ECS, containers, S3, and CloudFront is highly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Russian-speaking proficiency is required, along with strong enough English communication skills to clearly discuss technical decisions, architecture, responsibilities, and production outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Experience with fintech, payments, regulated systems, or SOC 1/SOC 2 environments is a strong plus.</p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
