Senior Game Designer (Systems & Economy) - Fully Remote

We are looking for a Senior Game Designer (Systems &amp; Economy) to help take one of our leading puzzle games to the next level.</span></p><p><span style="color: #121317">In this role, you will own the design and optimization of the game’s progression, economy, events, and monetization systems. Your mission is to create compelling short-, mid-, and long-term goals that keep players engaged for months and years while maximizing player satisfaction and business performance.</span></p><p><strong><em><span style="color: #121317">Qualified applicants will be expected to complete a design test.</span></em></strong></p><p><strong><em><span style="color: #121317">This is a REMOTE position.</span></em></strong></p><h4><span style="color: #121317">Your Role:</span></h4><ul><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Design, balance, and optimize the game’s economy, progression, and reward systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Create engaging player motivation loops across events, features, and monetization.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Develop and maintain a cohesive ecosystem of LiveOps events, ensuring they work together rather than compete for player attention.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Design systems that improve retention, engagement, and monetization while preserving a great player experience.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Build and maintain economy models, balancing spreadsheets, and simulations.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Use data to identify player friction points, progression bottlenecks, and monetization opportunities.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Collaborate closely with Product, BI, UA, Art, and Development teams to improve game performance.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Analyze KPIs such as Retention, ARPDAU, Conversion, LTV, and Engagement to guide design decisions.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Drive feature and event improvements through continuous testing, iteration, and experimentation.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Clearly communicate design rationale, trade-offs, and recommendations across the team.</span></p></li></ul><h4><span style="color: #121317">Your Profile:</span></h4><ul><li><p><span style="color: #121317">5+ years of experience designing and operating successful F2P mobile games.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Strong experience in systems design, economy design, progression design, and LiveOps.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Proven track record working on casual or puzzle games.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Deep understanding of player motivation, retention mechanics, and monetization design.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Strong analytical mindset with the ability to design, execute and translate data with e.g. A/B Tests into actionable improvements.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Advanced spreadsheet skills and experience building balancing models.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Comfortable making decisions based on KPIs and player behavior.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities without waiting for direction.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Proficient in using AI tools for data analysis.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Deep passion for games.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.</span></p></li></ul><h4><span style="color: #121317">Benefits:</span></h4><ul><li><p><span style="color: #121317">SOFTGAMES offers a competitive package, including:</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Remote first - We have a flexible working setup.
