As a Senior Industry Consultant-Manufacturing for Utilities, Manufacturing, and Other Industries (UMO), you will play a key role in bringing this mission to life. Sitting at the intersection of industry expertise, data, and technology, you will transform ideas into scalable, real-world solutions that create measurable value for clients. You will work closely with sales, product, and data teams to shape use cases, support customer engagements, and drive execution from concept to delivery.</p> </div><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br> <li>Develop and maintain industry-specific use cases and scalable solution blueprints</li> <li>Translate business processes, KPIs, and customer needs into structured solution designs</li> <li>Combine internal and external data to deliver measurable business outcomes</li> <li>Support analytics and AI-driven use cases through clear requirements and documentation</li> <li>Contribute to sales and pre-sales activities with insights and analytical input</li> <li>Facilitate customer workshops, capturing and structuring business requirements</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and data teams to deliver solutions</li> <li>Translate industry and customer needs into structured inputs for product and data teams</li> <li>Monitor market trends and translate insights into actionable opportunities</li> <br><strong>Essential Skills:</strong><br> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience</li> <li>8+ years of experience in consulting, business analysis, or industry-focused roles</li> <li>Solid understanding of industry processes, KPIs, and performance metrics, and the ability to apply them in concrete customer, sales, and solution contexts</li> <li>Experience in manufacturing, utilities, or related sectors</li> <li>Proven ability to develop and implement business use cases or solutions</li> <li>Strong understanding of data eco systems, analytics and (Agentic-) AI-driven use cases</li> <li>Experience supporting sales, pre-sales, or customer-facing initiatives</li> <li>Ability to structure complex problems and translate them into clear solutions</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in German and English, written and spoken</li> <li>Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and structured working style</li> <div>All Dun &amp; Bradstreet job postings can be found at <a href="https://jobs.lever.co/dnb">https://jobs.lever.co/dnb</a>.
