You’ll work on meaningful, user-facing product features in our iOS app — building polished, performant, and reliable experiences that our users and creators rely on every day.</p> <p>You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Design to deliver solutions aligned with real customer needs. This role is best suited for a senior individual contributor who enjoys hands-on development, product problem-solving, and working in a fast-moving startup environment.</p> </p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Design and implement new iOS features with a strong focus on usability, clarity, and delivering value to real users.</p> </li> <li> <p>Build and maintain robust, scalable mobile architecture (including networking, data persistence, and state management) that supports fast iteration and long-term maintainability.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate requirements into practical, well-scoped technical solutions. Provide input during planning to ensure features are feasible, maintainable, and aligned with user and business goals.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure high-quality releases through clean, readable, and well-tested code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared standards around quality, testing, and maintainability.</p> </li> <li> <p>Take ownership of the features you build. Identify issues or gaps, propose improvements, and iterate based on feedback. You’re comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting as requirements evolve.</p> </li> <li> <p>Improve app performance and reliability by diagnosing bottlenecks, addressing crashes, and strengthening overall stability and user experience.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on iOS development. Proven experience shipping production iOS applications end-to-end.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development practices. Ability to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with attention to detail and performance.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with modern iOS UI patterns, including handling complex navigation, animations, and edge cases in real-world production apps.</p> </li> <li> <p>Active daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or similar) for development, debugging, and problem-solving. We expect engineers to leverage these tools to ship faster and work through complex problems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong understanding of networking on iOS (REST/GraphQL), including authentication flows, caching strategies, error handling, and offline/unstable network scenarios.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience designing maintainable architectures (e.g. MVVM, Redux-style state management, Clean Architecture, or similar) and improving existing codebases over time.</p> </li> <li> <p>Solid understanding of iOS performance and debugging tools (e.g. Instruments, crash reporting, profiling) and the ability to diagnose issues effectively.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication skills in English. Comfortable working in a remote, cross-timezone team and collaborating asynchronously.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with other frontend or mobile technologies, such as React Native or React.js, and an interest in cross-platform product development.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with <strong>SwiftUI</strong> in production and building scalable design systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience integrating and maintaining <strong>third-party SDKs</strong> (analytics, payments, video, attribution).</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience implementing and maintaining <strong>subscription flows</strong> on iOS</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with <strong>CI/CD for iOS</strong> (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or similar) and improving developer velocity.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working in a <strong>startup or fast-growing product company</strong>.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>What We Offer</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Your work will directly affect creators and users on the platform.
