Senior Manager, Data Center Commissioning

We're looking for people who'd rather build the playbook than inherit one — who are comfortable doing the work themselves as well as directing others, and who can adapt as fast as our strategy does. This is a startup model: attitude and adaptability matter more to us than years of experience or the size of team you've previously managed.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a cross-functional role requiring strong technical, commercial, and delivery capabilities, with exposure to executive stakeholders and EPCs, equipment OEMs, and the Operations organisation receiving each completed site.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You'll personally lead commissioning on Radiant's live projects, travelling to whichever site needs you most, and build the handover-to-Operations playbook as you go rather than following one that already exists.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Commissioning</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Lead commissioning activities on-site personally, moving between projects as they reach energisation.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build Radiant's commissioning methodology and readiness checklist from scratch.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Handover</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own the handover package into Operations and personally walk it through with the receiving team.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Take full ownership of the entire period between build completion and Operations go-live, not just the formal handover point.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Team build</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build out a pooled commissioning team as project count grows, while remaining hands-on at site level yourself.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Attitude matters more to us here than number of years of experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on commissioning experience on data centre or mission-critical infrastructure, through to energisation.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Willingness to travel between live sites at short notice; this is not a desk-based role.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfort building a methodology from experience rather than inheriting a mature one.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're hiring for the instinct to catch problems on the floor, not years of managing a commissioning department.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Full ownership of, or demonstrated hands-on experience across, Level 1 to Level 5 commissioning.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with both air-cooled and liquid-cooled (DLC) commissioning.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exposure to integrated systems testing (IST) methodology.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience commissioning projects in both Europe and the US.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Qualities we look for:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Set the standard: </strong>Every single day, you spot opportunities to constructively shake things up.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Inspire the change: </strong>There's no blueprint for the future.
