<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a founding rainmaker opportunity at an emerging AI-native law firm, where you will bring your established book of business onto a proprietary agentic platform and help shape the firm's early growth trajectory. You will serve as a senior market-facing attorney and equity stakeholder, sitting at the intersection of legal practice and technology transformation. The role matters because you will directly influence how the firm scales its client base and automates recurring legal work.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Transition your portable book of business onto the firm's AI agent platform and continue serving your existing clients.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Act as a market-facing credibility engine, opening top-of-funnel opportunities through your private equity, venture capital, and mid-market network.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Cross-sell commercial and compliance services into your existing client base.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with the founding team to move recurring matters onto the AI automation platform.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Help guide the firm's growth strategy as it scales toward its next funding milestone.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">12 or more years of experience as a partner-level attorney at a recognised German law firm.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">German-qualified Volljurist with an active Rechtsanwalt admission.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A portable, personally held book of business of at least EUR 1M, diversified across multiple clients and weighted toward PE/VC clients with portfolio company networks.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Book includes recurring, automatable practice areas such as commercial contracts, IT and data, corporate/VC, or regulatory work rather than litigation-only.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong network into private equity firms, mid-market companies, or similar client bases that unlock cross-sell opportunities.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Native-level German and professional English proficiency.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Germany-based and work-authorised, with Berlin in-person presence preferred.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Genuine conviction in the AI-native law firm model and an equity-driven growth story.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Dr. iur. or LL.M. qualification is a plus.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on experience using AI tools such as large language models or legal AI platforms in daily practice is a plus.</p></li></ul><h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">Base salary in the range of EUR 200,000 to EUR 300,000 annually, plus meaningful equity participation. Visa sponsorship is not available.</p><h3>Location</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hybrid, based in Berlin, Germany.
