<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a founding senior attorney opportunity at an AI-native law firm in Germany, building the firm's client base and market presence from the ground up. You will bring an established portable book of business onto a proprietary agentic legal platform, acting as both a client-facing rainmaker and a key voice in shaping the firm's commercial growth. The role sits at the intersection of law practice and legal technology, and suits a senior practitioner who genuinely believes in the AI-driven future of legal services.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Transition and continue serving your existing client book on the firm's AI agent platform.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Open top-of-funnel opportunities through your private equity, venture capital, and mid-market network.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Cross-sell commercial and compliance legal services into your existing client base.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with the founding team to move recurring matters onto the AI automation platform.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Help shape the firm's growth trajectory as a founding equity-holding partner.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">12 or more years of experience as a partner-level attorney at a top-ranked German law firm, with a focus on PE/VC and corporate sectors.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">German-qualified Volljurist with active Rechtsanwalt bar admission.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A portable, personally held client book of €1M or more, weighted toward PE/VC clients and their portfolio companies.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Diversified client base across multiple sectors and company sizes, not dependent on a small number of large institutional clients for revenue.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Recurring, automatable work in your book such as commercial contracts, IT and data, corporate/VC advisory, or regulatory matters; not litigation-only.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Feasible transition path with a notice period and client migration achievable within approximately 6 months, and no restrictive non-competes preventing book portability.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Native-level German proficiency for client work and professional English fluency.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on experience using AI tools such as large language model assistants or legal AI platforms in daily practice.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A Dr. iur. or LL.M. qualification is a plus.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Germany-based and fully work-authorized; no visa sponsorship is available.</p></li></ul><h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">Base compensation of <strong>€200,000 to €300,000 annually</strong>, plus meaningful equity in a technology-driven legal venture. Visa sponsorship is not available.</p><h3>Location</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">Germany-based, with Berlin in-person work preferred.
