With more than 30 years of experience, synvert has completed over 3,000 successful projects for more than 250 clients across Europe and is known for long-term partnerships that typically last over 10 years.</span></p><br><strong>Your Tasks</strong><p><ul><li>Lead the analysis, architecture, design, and implementation of complex cloud and data platform solutions for well-known clients across various industries.</li><li>Take technical ownership of modern cloud, hybrid, and on-premises analytical solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle.</li><li>Design and implement scalable data platforms, data warehouses, lakehouses, and modern data architectures.</li><li>Advise clients on cloud strategies, architectural decisions, and technology selection to achieve sustainable business outcomes.</li><li>Plan and execute complex cloud migration and modernization initiatives for enterprise data platforms.</li><li>Develop proof of concepts, reference architectures, and best practices for emerging cloud and data technologies.</li><li>Lead projects or workstreams from a technical perspective while ensuring high quality standards and successful delivery.</li><li>Mentor and coach consultants and engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing across teams.</li><li>Facilitate customer workshops, architecture reviews, and technical presentations for both technical and business stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to business development activities, presales engagements, and the continuous evolution of our service portfolio.</li></ul></p><br><strong>What do we expect from you?</strong><p><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM-related field, or an equivalent qualification.</li><li><strong>5+ years (Senior)</strong> or <strong>8+ years (Principal)</strong> of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Platform Architecture.</li><li>Proven expertise with at least one leading cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or Google Cloud, as well as technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable platforms.</li><li>Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and Data Mesh concepts.</li><li>Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes.</li><li>Extensive experience building scalable data pipelines and processing structured and unstructured data.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to make architectural decisions and successfully deliver complex cloud and data transformation projects.</li><li>Strong consulting and communication skills with confidence in interacting with customers and stakeholders at different organizational levels.</li><li>Passion for mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and taking technical leadership responsibilities.</li><li>Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.</li><li>Strong curiosity for emerging technologies and a continuous learning mentality.</li></ul><p><strong>Language Skills</strong></p><ul><li>German: Minimum C1</li><li>English: Minimum B2</li></ul><br></p><br><strong>What you can expect</strong><p><span style="font-size:14px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Agile Culture &amp;
