<p><strong>Dalma, in a few words</strong></p> <p>Dalma is the pet health insurance company that's rethinking how people care for their animals — combining insurance, prevention, and a real vet team to support pet parents at every stage of their pet's life. We operate in France and are growing fast in Germany, with the ambition to become the go-to health partner for pets and their owners across Europe.</p> <p><strong>The role</strong></p> <p>We're looking for an experienced <strong>SEO and GEO Manager</strong> to build and own organic and AI-visibility growth for Dalma in <strong>Germany and France</strong>.</p> <p>You'll take full ownership of the GEO/SEO strategy for DE, end-to-end and set the strategy and roadmap for FR, working hand in hand with Marie, our Senior Marketing Manager, who leads execution there.</p> <p>This is a real ownership role: there's no existing SEO team to plug into and no inherited roadmap to follow. Just a fast-moving channel with genuine headroom in two markets, and a direct line to our Head of B2C Growth.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Strategy &#x26; execution</strong> — Own the DE GEO channel end-to-end: data-led strategy, roadmap, and hands-on execution. Set the same strategy and roadmap for FR, partnering with our Senior Marketing Manager on execution.</li> <li><strong>GEO optimization</strong> — Run a test-and-learn, AI/automation-first approach to GEO. Balance a structured roadmap with the agility to jump on short-lived opportunities (new formats, hacks, partnerships), and stay ahead of a fast-moving market — model updates, new tactics, new research.</li> <li><strong>Content &#x26; placements</strong> — Build content in areas of topical authority using first-party data and expert authorship. Keep our technical SEO/GEO foundation current, and manage off-page placements: refreshing existing ones, opening new affiliate/partnership placements, and running digital PR.</li> <li><strong>Consultancy &#x26; knowledge-sharing</strong> — Document playbooks and share GEO/SEO knowledge with the team as the roadmap matures, so expertise isn't locked in one person.</li> <li><strong>Forecasting &#x26; reporting</strong> — Forecast the expected impact of initiatives before executing them, and report against that forecast — not just describe activity after the fact.</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <p><strong>Must-haves:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on SEO delivery experience — you've built and executed a strategy yourself, not just briefed one</li> <li>Comfortable building from scratch, with ambiguity, and without an existing team to lean on</li> <li>You own your data and reporting personally (GSC, GA4, Looker) — no analyst needed</li> <li>Fluent in German and English</li> <li>Based in Berlin</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-haves:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Insurance or subscription-based B2C industry background</li> <li>Experience managing an agency handover</li> </ul> <p><strong>Recruitment process</strong></p> <ol> <li>Introduction call with Nik (Head of B2C Growth) — 30 min</li> <li>Case study with Nik — 1h</li> <li>Team fit with Marie-Anne — 30 min</li> <li>Team fit with Alban (co-founder) — 30 min</li> </ol> <p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
