Familiarity with music technology hard and software will ensure that the Software Developer understands the technical requirements and challenges of our products and solutions.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Essential Functions: &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar education&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Several years of working experience in application software development&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code within an established architecture, following defined coding standards&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Excellent object-oriented C++ programming skills&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience developing with a cross-platform software framework&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience implementing connections to remote server and cloud APIs&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Proficiency with software development tools (Visual Studio, Xcode, Git, CMake, Jira / Confluence)&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Fluent German and English language skills&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Good communication skills&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ability to work alone and as part of a team&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Excellent time, task and resource organisation skills&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Willing to take responsibility and be the driving force of a project&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Desirable Qualities:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Familiarity with a cross-platform software framework such as Qt or JUCE&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Knowledge of digital audio workstation (DAW) software&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Knowledge of VST/AU plug-in technologies&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Background in music or music production/audio technology&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About Fender Musical Instruments:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is one of the world’s leading musical instrument manufacturers, marketers and distributors, whose portfolio of brands includes Fender®, Squier®, PreSonus®, Gretsch®, Jackson®, EVH®, Charvel®, Bigsby®, and Groove Tubes®, among others.
