Building a well-oiled machine where people like to work and inspiring all birds to become internal innovators are at the heart of our mission.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <p>As a Software Engineer in the NVISO Labs team, your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Designing and developing scalable back-end software and services using (mostly) Python.</li> <li>Leveraging Azure cloud services such as Functions, App Services, storage, and identity capabilities to build reliable solutions.</li> <li>Designing APIs and integrating back-end components with internal and customer-facing platforms where needed.</li> <li>Applying sound software engineering practices to deliver maintainable, secure, and production-ready back-end solutions.</li> <li>Troubleshooting performance, reliability, and scalability issues across services and cloud-based workloads.</li> <li>Identifying bottlenecks and continuously improving the efficiency, resilience, and observability of back-end systems.</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li><strong>You hold citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states.</strong></li> <li>At least <strong>5 years</strong> of experience as a software engineer</li> <li>A master's degree in computer science or a related technical field</li> <li>High proficiency in developing professional Python and/or C# code</li> <li>Passionate about best practices regarding reusability, maintainability, security, and testing</li> <li>Thorough understanding of computer systems going beyond application development (including operating systems, networking, infrastructure, etc.)</li> <li>Experience with Azure-native development, API design, and cloud-based architectures is a plus</li> <li>Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written</li> <li>Ability to work independently and keep track of your priorities</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills that enable you to work effectively in a collaborative team environment across the entire company</li> <li>Positive, team and mission-oriented attitude</li> <li>Ability to prepare and present your work to your colleagues</li> <li>Team player who works well under occasional pressure</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits</h2> <p>At NVISO, we care.
