Solution Engineer (m/f/d) Telecommunications

<p>Infosim is a software company based in Würzburg, Germany. We develop and distribute StableNet, our network management software, together with a dedicated Business Intelligence suite.</p> <p>As our business in Africa continues to grow, we are looking for a <strong>freelance Solution Engineer</strong> (m/f/d) to join us from July 2026 and help strengthen our presence in and around <strong>Lagos, Nigeria</strong>.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <p>In this role, you will use your technical expertise and telco knowledge to help our customers unlock the full potential of our products. You will support them throughout installation, rollout, and integration, ensuring that StableNet is successfully implemented in complex network environments.</p> <p>In addition, you will act as a technical advisor to our Sales team. You will support the preparation of tender offers, respond to RFIs and RFQs, and deliver compelling product demonstrations to customers and prospects.</p> <p>You will be working in an international team of about 15 experts.</p> <h2>Requirements</h2> <p>Your skills and personality matter more to us than a specific degree or a fixed number of years of experience. What matters most is that you understand the ins and outs of large IT and telecommunications networks and are comfortable working with technologies such as SNMP, IPv6, Kafka, or comparable tools and protocols.</p> <p>In-depth programming skills are not required, but you should be able to write small scripts to support technical tasks, automation, or troubleshooting.</p> <p>As this role is strongly customer-facing, clear communication and strong English skills are essential. You should enjoy working closely with customers, understanding their needs, and explaining technical concepts in a clear and practical way.</p> <p>Additionally, you should be prepared to travel, as regular on-site visits to customers will be part of the role.</p> <h2>Benefits</h2> <ul> <li>Unlimited freelance contract with fixed compensation paid in USD or EUR.</li> <li>The hours fit your schedule - work when you can!
