reliability in mind.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Building interfaces and real-time frontend services that enable multiple users to edit graph data and re-train AI models through their input.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Owning projects end-to-end as part of small teams, collaborating with our TLs and Product Managers.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participating in architectural decisions, collaborating across teams to identify and implement product improvements and producing documentation for your implementations.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participate in and improve the Team's and Chapter's internal processes and rituals so that we're more effective.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Providing feedback to peers through RFCs, code reviews and helping those around you to level up.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participating in hiring and onboarding new team members.</p></li></ul><h3></h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h3><strong>Who you are</strong></h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have at least<strong> <u>8+ years</u></strong> of experience as a Software Engineer and high engineering standards.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong experience and understanding of <strong><u>React</u>, state management, front-end architecture &amp; concepts.</strong></p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Deep understanding of Front-end performance</strong> <strong>optimisation techniques</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Knowledge of advanced system design principles</strong>, <strong>data structures, and the core concepts underlying <u>data-intensive applications</u>.</strong></p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Minimum knowledge of Backend Engineering (eg. being able to add API endpoints, change logic)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Committed to upholding high engineering standards, delivering clean, testable, reusable, modular, and well-documented code.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience owning projects from start to finish, including speccing, design, development, testing, deployment, release and observability.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drive to develop your skills, improve team processes and reduce debt.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Fluency in English, with effective communication skills</strong> – articulating complex ideas, concepts and trade-offs clearly.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h3><strong>Bonus</strong></h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Background working in fast-paced, successful<strong> scale-up</strong> environments or <strong>as a founding engineer</strong>, with a track record of delivering value quickly and iteratively alongside building processes.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Graph or Canvas-based Rendering, or graph/geometry editing.
