Whether you’re taking the direct route or trying a new path, we’ll support you no matter what. </p> </p> <h3><strong>The Role_</strong></h3> <p>// As part of the Passenger Apps team, you'll lead the delivery and ongoing development of Masabi's native passenger applications, the white-label Justride/Passenger experience deployed across transit agencies worldwide, spanning iOS, Android and Web.</p> <p>This is a hands-on Technical Lead role with a balance of approximately 50% technical contribution and 50% people leadership, delivery management and team coordination. Alongside supporting a team of engineers, you'll remain actively involved in technical design, implementation, code reviews and delivery planning, focused on integrating Masabi's Justride SDK and public API platform capabilities.</p> </p> <h3><strong>Location_</strong></h3> <p>// This role is available in a remote model for candidates based in Poland</p> </p> <h3><strong>Type of Role_</strong></h3> <p>// This role is available as an up to 12 months Fixed Term Contract</p> </p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities_</strong></h3> </p> <h3><em><strong>Technical Leadership &amp; Delivery</strong></em></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Own delivery across the Passenger iOS, Android and Web applications, clearing blockers and keeping releases predictable</p> </li> <li> <p>Remain actively involved in technical implementation, design discussions and code reviews, setting the bar for engineering quality</p> </li> <li> <p>Drive the integration of Masabi's Justride SDK and public APIs into Passenger applications</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead application migrations, release management, rollout planning and deployment activities</p> </li> <li> <p>Support engineering practices that enable effective delivery across the team</p> </li> </ul> <h3><em><strong>People Leadership &amp; Team Development</strong></em></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and support a team of engineers through regular 1:1s, coaching, performance feedback and clear development conversations</p> </li> <li> <p>Create an environment where engineers can grow, develop and do their best work</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner closely with Product and Engineering stakeholders to align priorities, delivery plans and team goals</p> </li> <li> <p>Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to hiring, onboarding and team growth activities as needed</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide visibility on delivery progress, risks and dependencies to stakeholders</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>About You_</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Strong hands-on engineer at heart, current in at least one native platform (Swift/UIKit or Kotlin/Coroutines) and able to move confidently across both</p> </li> <li> <p>You’ve led technical delivery across engineering teams, owning quality through code review and design guidance rather than stepping back from the work</p> </li> <li> <p>You've managed and grown engineers directly, running 1:1s, coaching and honest feedback</p> </li> <li> <p>Comfortable in multi-tenant or white-label products, where one codebase serves many customers with different needs</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience delivering and evolving production applications, including migrations or modernisation efforts</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledgeable and experienced in SDK and API integrations</p> </li> <li> <p>Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and able to demonstrate how you’ve incorporated them into engineering workflow</p> </li> <li> <p>A calm communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned and can hold the balance between coding and leading</p> </p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Nice to Have_</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Familiarity with release management, rollout strategies and deployment processes</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and engineering quality practices</p> </li> <li> <p>Participation in hiring, onboarding or team growth initiatives</p> </li> <li> <p>Prior experience in Fintech or Transit domains</p> </li> </ul> <h3></h3> </p> <p><strong>Careers at Masabi are for people going places - driven by a mission to make transit fair and accessible for all.</strong></p> <p>// We are a network of innovators from all walks of life, passionate about making a difference.
