We build property management software. We acquire property management companies across Germany and plug our software in to increase revenue and profit. 70,000+ units, 12 locations, 25+ acquired companies.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What You'll Actually Do</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">You'll be the person our VP of Property Management calls when a portfolio company's margins need to go from 5% to 35%, when an acquisition needs due diligence by Friday, or when a regulatory change hits and someone needs to own the response. This is the hardest job on the Ops team and the fastest path to running your own business unit at Buena.</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Run the numbers on acquisitions.</strong> Analyze P&amp;Ls, model unit economics, and support due diligence for new portfolio companies. You'll know every cost driver before we sign.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Drive integration on the ground.</strong> Work with site leads to move portfolio companies onto Buena's platform. Professionalize processes. Fix what's broken. Improve margins.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Find new revenue.</strong> Evaluate adjacent opportunities: insurance, brokerage, energy and model whether they're worth building. If they are, you'll help launch them.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Own projects end-to-end.</strong> Regulatory compliance, recruiting at portfolio companies, operational firefighting. If it matters and it's cross-functional, it's yours.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Be the VP's right hand.</strong> Strategic sparring partner to Linus (VP Property Management). Prepare analyses for leadership. This is a German-language operating environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Based in Berlin, willing to travel regularly to portfolio companies across Germany.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Professional experience in consulting, operations, finance, or a startup environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You're comfortable with P&amp;Ls, financial modeling, and working under pressure.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">High ownership mentality. You don't wait to be told what to do.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bonus points: Property management or real estate background. Post-merger integration experience.
