VP Finance

<p>We are looking for an experienced, hands-on<strong> VP Finance </strong>to support Nextcloud through its next major phase of growth and strategic development.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Build and lead the finance function for the next stage of Nextcloud’s growth: scale-up from 170 to 400 employees at a fast pace</p></li><li><p>Initially take a highly hands-on and operational role, establishing scalable financial processes, systems, reporting and controls</p></li><li><p>Transition from operational execution to strategic leadership and management</p></li><li><p>Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, cash flow and management reporting</p></li><li><p>Develop the financial organisation, systems and governance required for a company of significantly greater scale</p></li><li><p>Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and management team on growth, investments and key business decisions</p></li><li><p>Prepare the company for a potential future shareholder transaction / sale of shares</p></li><li><p>Lead the financial side of such a transaction, including preparation, due diligence, financial documentation and transaction execution</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong finance leadership experience in a fast-growing technology/software company</p></li><li><p>Experience scaling a finance organization and supporting significant company growth</p></li><li><p>Combination of strategic expertise and willingness to work operationally (initial phase)</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of financial planning, controlling, accounting, reporting and cash management</p></li><li><p>Experience with M&A, shareholder transactions, due diligence and company sale processes</p></li><li><p>Commercially minded, pragmatic and execution-oriented</p></li><li><p>German and English language skills are both essential</p></li><li><p>Ideally located in either Stuttgart or Berlin</p></li></ul><p><strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul><li><p>A distributed, open, and enthusiastic team with a passion for working for and within the open source community</p></li><li><p>A fun and diverse team</p></li><li><p>A product that pushes the boundaries of technology with a global user and contributor community</p></li><li><p>A competitive salary</p></li><li><p>Flexibility for a healthy work-life balance</p></li><li><p>Time for personal growth and education</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
