WBV Manager / Validation Lead - International Private Connect (Freelance, Remote EU)

<p>For the short-term launch of an international connectivity product, we are looking for an experienced <strong>WBV Manager / Validation Lead (m/f/d)</strong>. The assignment focuses on the operational validation of a cross-border data-centre connectivity solution for hyperscalers before Stage Gate 3.</p> <p>This is not a purely organisational project management role. The consultant will actively shape the validation, independently perform or coordinate essential validation activities, and manage the involved national and international telecommunications units.</p> <p><strong>Project framework</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Start:</strong> 09/2026</li> <li><strong>End:</strong> 11/2026</li> <li><strong>Workload:</strong> approx. 40–50 person-days</li> <li><strong>Capacity:</strong> ideally full-time for approximately ten weeks</li> <li><strong>Location:</strong> fully remote within the EU</li> <li><strong>Language:</strong> fluent English mandatory; German is an advantage</li> <li><strong>Contract type:</strong> Freelance</li> </ul> <h2>Tasks</h2> <ul> <li>Plan and manage the operational validation before Stage Gate 3</li> <li>Define and align the validation scope, criteria and acceptance requirements</li> <li>Validate the national and international service and production chains</li> <li>Work within the relevant TWIST, Tafel and NGSD process landscape</li> <li>Coordinate the involved product, technical, operational and business unitsIdentify and track findings, blockers, dependencies and risks</li> <li>Organise and facilitate the required validation sessions</li> <li>Prepare reliable validation documentation for the Stage Gate decision</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Proven practical experience conducting or leading a WBV or comparable operational/service-readiness validation</li> <li>Strong understanding of complex telecommunications, connectivity and production chains</li> <li>Concrete practical experience with TWIST</li> <li>Concrete experience with the national Tafel chain</li> <li>Concrete experience with the international NGSD/TWIST chain</li> <li>Ability to manage a validation independently from planning through completion</li> <li>Excellent English skills for international stakeholder coordination</li> </ul> <p>Find <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com">Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
