You’ll work on our React Native mobile app as we scale it into a fully independent experience for mobile-first markets. You’ll contribute just as actively to our web platform, from intuitive user interfaces in React to scalable APIs and backend services in <a rel="noopener" target="_blank" href="http://Node.js">Node.js</a>.</p><p style="text-align:start;">Your average week in Utrecht:</p><ul><li><p>Building and shipping new features in our React Native mobile app (around 50% of your time)</p></li><li><p>Building and shipping new features on our web platform, with React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend (around 50% of your time)</p></li><li><p>Shaping features together with product and design to improve the user experience</p></li><li><p>Working in structured weekly sprints with your team</p></li><li><p>Writing clean, scalable and maintainable code in TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js and MongoDB</p></li><li><p>Building and improving performant, secure REST APIs</p></li><li><p>Contributing to technical discussions and architecture decisions, including our mobile strategy</p></li><li><p>Reviewing pull requests to keep quality high</p></li><li><p>Improving developer workflows, CI/CD and automated testing</p></li><li><p>Owning features from idea to deployment, across mobile and web</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:start;">In short: your work directly makes our platform faster, smarter and more scalable, helping our customers grow and pushing Learned to the next level 🌱</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p style="text-align:start;"><strong>The team</strong><br>You’ll join a development team of 6 developers in Utrecht, working closely with 11 colleagues in Sri Lanka through a buddy system that keeps lines short. The team is led by Alex, our CTO. We’re an international company of 55 people (7+ nationalities) serving 350+ customers, increasingly at enterprise level.
