Mentoring can involve one mentor and one mentee or several participants and can address issues ranging from SPS transparency and WTO Committee participation to domestic coordination, risk-based inspection and practical implementation of SPS obligations.</p> <p data-start="23756" data-end="24080">The first pilot received <strong data-start="23781" data-end="23826">56 requests from 23 members and observers</strong>, resulting in nine selected applications and five mentoring partnerships. Mentees should not expect a stipend, salary or travel grant.
