Full-Stack Engineer (Founding Team)

<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">Join a small, high-conviction founding team building an <strong>AI-powered project management platform for the construction industry</strong>. As one of the first engineers, you will own the product technically from day one — partnering directly with the founders to build a category-defining platform that automates documentation, workflow management, decision tracking, and risk analysis for construction projects.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where you will work across the full stack, from data models and backend systems to polished, responsive user interfaces, with your code shipping to real customers in days.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Note: German language fluency is a hard requirement for this role.</strong></p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build customer-facing features end-to-end, from database design through beautiful, responsive frontends.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design robust, scalable systems capable of handling complex workflows and large, real-world datasets.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Operate in a high-velocity environment where ideas move to production in days, not months.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with complex construction-industry data and build sophisticated, automated workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute directly to product direction and technical architecture alongside the founding team.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Fluent German speaker (hard requirement).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong proficiency in <strong>TypeScript</strong> and <strong>Next.js</strong> for full-stack development.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on experience with <strong>PostgreSQL</strong> and <strong>Supabase</strong>, including vector data.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with <strong>LangChain</strong>, <strong>TanStack Query</strong>, and <strong>shadcn UI</strong> for building UIs and AI-driven data workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Stable work history — preference for roles lasting 12+ months (internships excluded).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to take end-to-end ownership of features and directly impact customer outcomes.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building and shipping scalable applications in an early-stage startup environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Background or domain interest in construction, real estate, or project management tooling.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">University degree in Computer Science or a related field (valued, not required).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborative mindset with comfort working closely with founders and shaping product decisions.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Tech Stack:</strong> TypeScript · Next.js · Supabase (PostgreSQL + vectors) · LangChain · TanStack Query · shadcn UI · Vercel</p><h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Salary: <strong>$70,000 – $90,000 USD</strong> annually (or local equivalent).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Early-stage equity participation.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Direct influence over product and technical strategy as a founding-team engineer.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><em>Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.</em></p></li></ul><h3>Location</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a <strong>hybrid</strong> role based in <strong>Munich, Germany</strong>.
