Junior Internal Auditor

Today, we serve over 6 million clients, with more than €30 billion in assets under management - a testament to the scale and trust we’ve built in just a few years.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're looking for a Junior Internal Auditor to support the Internal Audit function by assisting in the delivery of internal audit assignments and other related activities. </p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What you'll do:</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support the Head of Internal Audit with Internal Audit Issue Tracking, departmental administration and the preparation of departmental management information.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assist with the preparation of papers and presentations for management, the Board Audit Committee and other governance forums as required.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assist with the planning of internal audit assignments by performing preliminary research, documenting processes and identifying key risks and controls.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support the completion of audit fieldwork by undertaking testing of controls, documenting audit evidence, identifying potential control weaknesses and escalating issues to the audit lead where appropriate.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assist in drafting audit working papers, audit findings and sections of audit reports for review by the Internal Audit Manager or Head of Internal Audit.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Use technology, data analytics and AI tools, where appropriate, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of audit work.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work collaboratively with Internal Audit co-source partners, second line functions and external auditors to support the successful delivery of the Internal Audit Plan.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop and maintain a good understanding of the firm's business, regulatory requirements and internal control framework, while promoting a positive control culture and high standards of regulatory compliance.</p></li></ul><h2><strong>Requirements:</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Some experience in Internal Audit, Risk, or Compliance within financial services is desirable.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Educated to degree level in finance, accounting, internal audit, or a related discipline.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Eagerness to learn, develop and take on new challenges.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. </p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Good analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to document testing and communicate findings clearly and accurately.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency in Google applications, particularly Google sheets, and google docs.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with data analysis tools, and Jira would be advantageous.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A basic understanding of risk management, governance and internal control principles.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">An interest in financial services regulation and a willingness to develop knowledge of FCA requirements and the Global Internal Audit Standards.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">High standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. </p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What we offer</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Challenges that will help you grow and realise your potential really fast.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Opportunity to make a big impact - you will build innovative services used by millions of investors to build wealth.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with smart, spirited, helpful, high-performing colleagues with a common goal.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">An environment where nothing is set in stone.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Appreciation for your talent and ideas.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Generous remuneration package including annual bonuses.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bring your ambition to Europe’s fastest-growing mobile broker!</p><p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.co.uk/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
