In this fast-paced role, you'll be the organisational backbone of our clinical team, ensuring clinicians have everything they need to deliver exceptional care to patients.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">From coordinating clinician schedules and managing clinical administration to supporting meetings and keeping important documentation up to date, you'll play a key part in making sure our day-to-day operations run seamlessly. No two days are the same, and if you thrive on organisation, enjoy solving problems and love keeping everything on track, you'll fit right in.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover contract for 12 months, working 40 hours per week.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What will you be doing?</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">As our Medical Secretary, you'll support the smooth running of the clinical team by:</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Preparing, maintaining and updating clinician rotas to ensure excellent clinical coverage.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Resolving rota conflicts and communicating schedule changes quickly and effectively.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Providing day-to-day administrative support to clinicians and the wider medical team.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring documentation is always up to date.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Organising meetings, taking minutes and following up on agreed actions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Coordinating consultant inductions and supporting onboarding and training activities.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Working closely with other departments to ensure clinicians have the equipment, systems and support they need.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Acting as the first point of contact for clinician queries relating to scheduling and administration.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drafting professional correspondence and supporting day-to-day communications.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Managing sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Supporting operational projects and helping the team meet key deadlines.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What do you need?</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're looking for someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in supporting others and can confidently manage multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environment.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You'll ideally have:</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Previous experience in a Medical Secretary, healthcare administration or similar administrative role.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and healthcare or scheduling systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work independently.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Generous Leave</strong>: 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after year one and 30 after year three) + usual bank holidays</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Pension Matching</strong>: Up to 5% employer matching contributions</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>About Us</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Montu UK is a leading digital health company specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPM), dedicated to improving patient access to safe and effective treatments.
