The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Philippine taxation, government compliance, payroll administration, and financial reporting, with the ability to independently manage recurring deadlines and regulatory requirements.</p><p>Payroll &amp; Employee Tax Compliance</p><div><br></div><ul><li><p>Support People Operations in timekeeping and payroll processing.</p></li><li><p>Process and validate SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions.</p></li><li><p>Reconcile SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions and resolve discrepancies with government agencies when necessary.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with employee-related statutory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Handle 13th Month Pay processing and leave encashment computations.</p></li><li><p>Process annual tax annualization requirements.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and file BIR Form 2316 for active and separated employees.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and submit employee tax compliance reports, alphalists, and other statutory filing requirements.</p></li></ul><div><br></div><p>BIR Tax Compliance &amp; Government Filings</p><div><br></div><ul><li><p>Prepare and file all required quarterly and annual BIR tax returns, reports, and compliance requirements for both employees and the company.</p></li><li><p>Manage BIR registrations, updates, and other regulatory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Prepare BIR Form 2307 and other withholding tax documentation as required.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and maintain a compliance calendar to ensure timely submission of all government requirements.</p></li><li><p>Handle employee, contractor, and company-related BIR compliance requirements.</p></li><li><p>Assist contractors with their tax compliance requirements and supporting documentation.</p></li><li><p>Manage the collection, validation, and filing of tax-related documents from contractors, suppliers, and service providers.</p></li><li><p>Monitor regulatory updates and advise leadership on changes to tax, payroll, and government compliance requirements.</p></li><li><p>Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.</p></li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div><h2>Accounting &amp; Financial Administration</h2><ul><li><p>Prepare invoices and official accounting documentation as needed.</p></li><li><p>Compile expense reports and compliance reports for leadership.</p></li><li><p>Assist with month-end financial reconciliations and accounting reports as needed.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate accounting records and organized filing systems.</p></li><li><p>Maintain complete and audit-ready accounting, payroll, tax, and compliance records.</p></li><li><p>Track and reconcile tax payments, government contributions, and compliance-related transactions.</p></li></ul><h2>Corporate &amp; Regulatory Compliance</h2><ul><li><p>Process and maintain company compliance requirements with BIR, SEC, local government units, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.</p></li><li><p>Facilitate annual permit renewals and corporate filings.</p></li><li><p>Create and maintain a master list of compliance requirements and filing deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Maintain records and supporting documents for audits and regulatory inspections.</p></li><li><p>Prepare supporting schedules and documentation required during audits, inspections, and government reviews.</p></li><li><p>Support BIR audits, government inquiries, and compliance reviews as needed.</p></li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>CPA designation is preferred but not required.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in accounting, taxation, payroll, and government compliance.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience independently managing end-to-end Philippine tax and government compliance requirements for a company.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of Philippine tax regulations, payroll processing, and statutory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Experience handling BIR audits is highly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience using BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SEC, and local government compliance systems and portals.</p></li><li><p>Must be located in Metro Manila and able to process government transactions in person when required.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, reconciliations, and reporting.</p></li><li><p>Experience working independently in a remote or hybrid work environment is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</p></li><li><p>High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial and employee information.</p></li></ul><div><p></p><p>Work Schedule: 10 to 15 hours per week</p><p>Engagement: Part-Time Contractor</p></div>
