This role assists in day-to-day Market Abuse tasks, will include, but are not limited to, undertaking daily trade surveillance activities, reviewing market manipulations alerts, STOR preparation and submission. Ideal for graduates and analysts with strong technical and data analytics skills, paired with a solid understanding of financial markets.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Day to day operation of the firm’s UK market abuse framework.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Undertake daily trade surveillance activities using the firm’s automated surveillance tool and investigate alerts in a timely manner.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Identify risks/issues and discrepancies and proactively escalate to the Market Abuse Manager for secondary review as required.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Conduct in depth investigations into potential market abuse instances and improper activity.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Accurately document review findings and outcomes and support further investigation of suspicious behaviour as required.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Investigate internal escalations when necessary.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Draft STOR forms ready for submission to the relevant regulators such as FCA as required.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assisting in maintaining appropriate desk based policies in relation to market abuse.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assist in responding to regulatory enquiries on market abuse issues.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assist in creating and maintaining market abuse related MI.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Undertake any ad-hoc projects supporting technical enhancements to the market abuse program.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support other team members with ad hoc tasks as required.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What you need to have</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A working understanding of the Market Abuse framework and what those entail.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A good working knowledge of financial products with a particular focus on Equities.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong IT skills with a particular focus on Microsoft Word &amp; Excel.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Python and/or SQL skills are preferred but not required.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A strong background in data science or data analytics is a plus.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Knowledge in FCA regulatory requirements and best practices in compliance.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A degree in studies focused on finance, statistics, data analysis or related field.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Good communication and interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable.</p></li></ul><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div><h2><strong>What we offer:</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Challenges that will help you grow and realize your potential fast.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Opportunity to make a significant impact - you will build innovative services used by millions of investors to build wealth.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with smart, spirited, helpful, high-performing colleagues with a common goal.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">An environment where nothing is set in stone.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Appreciation for your talent and ideas.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Generous remuneration package</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bring your ambition to Europe’s fastest-growing mobile broker!</p><p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.co.uk/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
