You will work from home most of the time. You will be asked to come to our office in Florence for team meetings and trainings twice monthly (usually on a Thursday).</em></p><p> </p><p>The Project Manager, Sports owns and manages client relationships and manage accommodation, travel and transfers arrangements as per client request.</p><p> </p><p><strong>As a Project Manager, Sports, you will be responsible for</strong></p><ul> <li>Hotel contracting</li> <li>Air and rail ticketing, individual and group</li> <li>Individual and group hotel stays</li> <li>Catering services (coffee breaks, business lunches, dinners) both in hotel and outside</li> <li>Individual and group transfers</li> <li>Management of charter flight services</li> <li>Support in managing paperwork for obtaining visas</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><ul> <li>You have several years of professional experience with organizing meetings and events</li> <li>Confident handling of Microsoft-Office products</li> <li>Service orientation and aplomb in dealing directly with people</li> <li>Team orientation, communication, and cooperation skills, confident and friendly demeanor</li> <li>Process-oriented, proactive &amp; solution-oriented working style</li> <li>Precise work and high-quality standards</li> <li>Commitment, flexibility, and willingness to learn in all areas</li> <li>Aptitude for teamwork</li> <li>Good knowledge of GDS Amadeus</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English</li> <li>You are reliable and able to build relationships</li> <li>Availability to make business trip if necessary in occasion of events and project relates to the client followed</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>What we offer you</strong></p><p>At BCD Travel, we work with highly motivated and passionate people.
