Unlike traditional interconnects, our solution <strong>reduces power consumption significantly </strong>while preserving <strong>high bandwidth and ultra-low latency </strong>— unlocking unprecedented efficiency for AI training and inference at scale.</p><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div><p style="min-height:1.5em">Kandou’s architecture is not just an incremental improvement — it’s a <strong>foundational shift </strong>in how AI hardware is built for the future.</p><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div><p style="min-height:1.5em">Job Title: <strong>Quality Systems Manager</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Location: Preferably UK (Cambridge or Reading) - Other location in Europe possible</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Responsibility and Authority</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design, deliver and manage our quality management system (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, (2015 and then transition to 2026), and company requirements.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Responsible for quality document administration and control, including Kandou’s Document (DMS) and Issues Management Systems (IMS).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Responsible for internal audit of the QMS, support supplier/customer audits and manage the relevant corrective actions/preventative actions (CAPA).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Champion customer/legislative driven quality, environmental and ethical initiatives e.g. Responsible Business Alliance, Cyber Security, Green House Gas emissions, etc.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own &amp; present quality metrics, and improvement plans, to management team.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Owner of all internal Quality processes e.g. change management, 5S audits, organisational risk management, etc.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own and communicate Kandou’s quality message to suppliers, employees, and customers.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with commercial, engineering, and operational functions to prioritise and agree on a roadmap of activities for internal and external expectations regarding quality goals.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Define and specify the implementation of quality standards, methods, metrics, and procedures for continuous improvement assuring product quality and business performance, including relevant KPI’s.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Candidate must demonstrate leadership, communication and influencing skills and is able to communicate with ease with customers, senior management and internal stakeholders.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">5+ years’ experience of working with, and implementing, Quality Management Systems within the semiconductor and/or technology industries.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Track record of defining quality processes &amp; procedures.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Administration of document and issue management systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Practical experience of data collection, pareto &amp; data analysis / trending.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Practical experience of continuous improvement and structured problem solving.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience of ISO9001 implementation, maintenance and certification. Equivalent knowledge of IATF16949 and/or ISO14001 is desirable.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Thorough knowledge of quality improvement tools.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience in effective collaboration with design, development and manufacturing organizations, particularly as relates to design and product realisation processes.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent verbal / written communication, interpersonal and functional team building skills.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Working understanding of statistical decision-making methods including process .capability analysis/MSA and DoE.
