As such, we’re looking to strengthen our Data Product team to help us continue to build a world class data ecosystem, working on cutting edge data concepts and technologies.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This role will work closely with a team of data engineers &amp; analytics engineers to build data products, supporting key stakeholders across the business - including risk, data scientists, commercial …and more!</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>What you'll be doing</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Be a senior member of the data product team, reporting into the Lead Data Product manager, responsible for enabling Funding Circle to be data driven and to help grow our data maturity.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support and coach junior colleagues in data product management.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support Senior Data leaders with strategic development of Data Products at Funding Circle.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Be a data champion, enabling the transformation of the way data is thought of and implemented at Funding Circle.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build a strong network of stakeholders within the business, understanding their objectives, translating them into a prioritised roadmap of work.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Become an SME and take ownership of the OKRs and planning cycles of your domain.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with engineers to help shape solutions that deliver value to our stakeholders - from making new data available to creating useful, structured datasets for analytics.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Act as a translator between product engineering teams producing data and reporting and analytics teams using data to align roadmaps and requirements.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with the wider teams to maximise the value realised from our data using cutting edge data technologies.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Skills we’d love to see:</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proven experience of understanding stakeholder goals and turning them into successful products.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience managing a wide group of stakeholders across all parts of the business, joining the dots to create solutions that work for everyone and prioritise work within the engineering team.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience of working with data platforms (data warehouse / data lake) and understanding the core elements that make up these platforms.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience of working with Data Scientists, Analysts and / or BI teams</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency in SQL for data exploration and analysis.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Be the voice of the product, translating technical delivery into business outcomes and communicate this out effectively.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You like to get into the details and solving problems but can also step back and communicate the bigger picture.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You build collaborative and constructive relationships.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Understand what's possible with data and the impact it has on an organisation.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><em>We’re building a place where everyone truly feels they belong.
