<p>We are supporting a global industrial company during a major organizational and IT transformation and are looking for an experienced <strong>Senior HR IT Governance, Service Management &#x26; Compliance Consultant</strong>.</p> <p>The consultant will support upcoming <strong>HR IT system audits and year-end audit activities</strong>, ensure the structured follow-up of audit findings, and secure critical knowledge.</p> <p>Candidates from <strong>Nearshore Europe</strong> are explicitly welcome.</p> <p><strong>Framework Conditions</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Start:</strong> October 2026</li> <li><strong>Duration:</strong> end of 2027</li> <li><strong>Location:</strong> Remote</li> <li><strong>Project language:</strong> English</li> <li><strong>Contract type:</strong> Freelance / B2B</li> <li><strong>Preferred location:</strong> Europe / Nearshore Europe with good CET/CEST overlap</li> </ul> <h2>Tasks</h2> <ul> <li>Support HR IT system audits, year-end audit activities, and related compliance reviews</li> <li>Document, coordinate, and track audit findings, measures, owners, and deadlines</li> <li>Develop and follow up on remediation and improvement plans resulting from audits</li> <li>Ensure that HR IT services comply with governance, risk, escalation, and approval processes</li> <li>Maintain high-quality technical, audit, process, and compliance documentation</li> <li>Ensure accurate and up-to-date information in tools such as LeanIX, COSEP, or comparable platforms</li> <li>Prepare the acquired knowledge and documentation for handover to future internal or external teams</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Strong professional experience in <strong>HR IT governance, IT compliance, or IT audit support</strong></li> <li>Practical experience supporting system audits and following up on audit findings</li> <li>Sound knowledge of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and documentation standards</li> <li>Experience with IT service management processes, preferably based on <strong>ITIL 4</strong></li> <li>Understanding of data compliance, data protection, cybersecurity, and authorization concepts</li> <li>Ability to translate audit or compliance requirements into actionable measures</li> <li>Strong documentation, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills</li> <li>Very good written and spoken English</li> </ul> <p>Nice to have</p> <ul> <li>Experience with HR IT landscapes containing multiple systems and individual solutions</li> <li>Knowledge of GDPR, the EU AI Act, or comparable regulatory requirements</li> <li>Experience with compliant data flows, analytics, and reporting solutions</li> <li>Experience with service-level agreements and service-maturity improvement</li> <li>Background in carve-outs, separations, transformation programs, or operating-model transitions</li> </ul> <p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
