Senior Maintenance Manager (all genders)

&lt;h2&gt;Your Role&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;p&gt;As our &lt;strong&gt;Senior Maintenance Manager (all genders)&lt;/strong&gt;, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our highly automated production facilities at our &lt;strong&gt;Barleben site near Magdeburg&lt;/strong&gt;. Together with your Engineering team, you will ensure that our technical equipment remains safe, reliable, and available at all times.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Working closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering, you will develop future-oriented maintenance strategies, optimize technical processes, and create the conditions for smooth and efficient production. &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Maintenance Supervisors, Automation Engineers, and Technicians while fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Take ownership of the technical availability and reliability of our production equipment by continuously developing and optimizing our maintenance strategy to sustainably minimize downtime.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including equipment availability, maintenance costs, and technical efficiency, and translate insights into impactful improvement initiatives.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Procurement to develop technical solutions that continuously improve production performance.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Lead the implementation and commissioning of new production equipment and automation solutions while ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Manage external service providers and suppliers, building long-term, trusted partnerships that support operational excellence.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Drive the professional and personal development of your team while fostering a high-performance, motivating work environment.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;hr&gt; &lt;h2&gt;What You&#39;ll Bring&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Bachelor&#39;s or Master&#39;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Several years of experience in maintenance or technical management within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the food, beverage, or FMCG industry.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Proven leadership experience with a passion for developing, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Strong expertise in maintenance management as well as the maintenance and optimization of automated production systems.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Experience with KPI management, project management, and the successful implementation of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset combined with a hands-on approach.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Google Workspace and Dematic automation systems is considered an advantage.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Solid knowledge of relevant occupational health and safety, food safety, quality, and compliance standards and regulations.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic production environment.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; &lt;p&gt;Passion for Operational Excellence, technical innovation, and the continuous development of people and processes.&lt;/p&gt;
