You will also be responsible for the improvement of delivered features to production, reducing the number of user complaints and ensuring that the product delivered has top-notch quality. One of the main goals of the team is preventing bugs that have the potential to impact the production environment and affect sales / crucial functionality times.</span></p><p style=";"></p><p><strong><span style="color: #000000">What you will do:</span></strong><span style="color: #000000"> </span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Improvement of delivered features to production, reducing the number of user complaints and ensuring that the product delivered has top-notch quality </span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Development of an automated test framework from scratch</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Integration tests, end-to-end tests, functional tests, regression tests</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Preventing bugs that have the potential to impact the production environment, affect sales and crucial functionality</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Microservices and API use cases (Postman, SOAP, REST)</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Creation of test case scenarios for manual and automated tests</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Development and execution of manual test case scenarios</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Independent investigation and proposal of new methods for improving quality assurance processes</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Reporting and documentation of all discovered errors/bugs</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver tasks on time and to the expected quality.</span></p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><p><strong>Workplace: </strong>Berlin &amp; Hybrid</p><p>We are aiming to hire a professional based in Germany or Europe. We are a remote-first company with colleagues based around the Globe.</p><br /><br /><p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p><ul><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation, including developing automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Ruby.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools (experience with JEST is a plus).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, QA methodologies, testing processes, and test design principles.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Experience designing test strategies and test plans across multiple teams or products, with the ability to establish scalable QA processes.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Proven experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Strong experience testing APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman, REST APIs, SOAP, and Swagger/OpenAPI.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Experience testing functional, integration, and end-to-end scenarios across web applications. Experience with mobile testing (e.g. Appium) is a plus.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Understanding of data representation technologies such as JSON and XML.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Good knowledge of test design and testing theory.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and confidence in validating data at the database level.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Ability to analyse application logs and service metrics and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Experience with Payment Service Provider (PSP) integrations is highly desirable.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is an advantage.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Experience working in Agile environments and with tools such as Jira.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering teams and stakeholders while managing priorities independently.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.</span></p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><p><strong>What you can expect:</strong></p><ul><li><p><span style="color: #000000">Make a global impact.
